Living in the Moment – A Love That Can’t Be Tied Down

(Scroll for Downloads & Sweepstakes!)

You didn’t plan for all this. Not really.

Yeah, you thought tonight would be chill. Some good food, music, maybe a little flirting. But this? This is on a whole different level. The kind of wild you don’t see coming, but you’re all in.

One minute you’re cracking jokes over food, next minute you’re sprinting down the street, laughing so hard it hurts. They dared you to jump over a fountain, you told them to sing in the middle of the road, and somehow you both actually did it.

The whole city’s buzzing, but they’re all you see. That look they give you right before doing something crazy, the way they grab your hand like it’s nothing, how they make you forget you ever had a plan in the first place.

Time’s not even a thing right now. It’s all just movement - fast, loud, messy fun. Streetlights flashing by, music blasting out of random bars, and for once, you’re not stuck in your head.

Maybe this is how it’s supposed to feel. No pressure, no overthinking. Just two people vibing hard, caught up in something real even if you don’t have a name for it.

One thing’s clear, you don’t want it to stop. 🎡

& Fun Facts

(by Hunter)

I remember starting the song on piano with some chords and a melody and sent a voice note to David. I was super inspired by Benny and the Jets by Elton John. We played around with the song a bunch over the span of nearly a whole year, with a different production demo and david coming up with a few different chorus ideas. When we finally met up, we wrote a majority of the song that same day. Then I made a new production and we tracked the vocals. Once the vocals were done, I finished the production.

Below, you can hear some older versions of the song and how it changed to become what it is now.
